Whitchurch Alport Football Club are delighted to announce an agreement which shall see our home at Yockings Park now be called the Air2Root Stadium for 2023/24!

Air2Root Turfcare Ltd based in Market Drayton are a family ran business who are no strangers to everyone at WAFC after helping immensely in the past few seasons with their outstanding programme of pitchcare uptaken at the newly named Air2Root Stadium.

Led by Director Kevin Moult and wife Kirsty, with sons Jamie and Louis along with ex Alport player Pete Clutton involved, the Air2Root family have created an excellent relationship with WAFC in the past three years and we are excited for this further enhancement of our partnership with the Stadium now proudly in their name.

With over 1,200 visitors each month our growing Community facility hosts games for our first team, 1946 mens team, womens team and junior sides. As well as numerous events throughout the calendar year welcoming everyone not just for football. Each year we are proud at the continued improvement we strive for to continually add to the experience here at the Air2Root Stadium.

Whitchurch Alport CIC General Manager Luke Goddard “Firstly I must show our appreciation to Paul and Tracey who started a new era for us as a football club during Covid-19 in sponsoring our Stadium, something we have never done before and despite a location move themselves have still kept up that sponsorship with KMJ Mortgages the past two seasons. Their presence with Magna Systems and KMJ will remain within the Stadium as a thankyou for their support :)

After talks with Kev at Ai2Root with the great working relationship we have with the pitch and their growth as a business we are delighted that they want to put their name not just to the pitch but the Stadium with more plans over the coming season to enhance the pitch and ground further”

Our first competitive game at the Air2Root Stadium will be on Saturday 5th August in the Emirates FA Cup (3pm) as we host Cheadle Town but before that we have plenty of action with pre season friendlies still remaining.
