Goalkeeper Lewis Dutton joins on season long loan from Chorley FC

Whitchurch Alport Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Lewis Dutton who joins on a season long loan from Chorley FC.

Dutton, 19 years old, signed for the Lancashire outfit in the summer after leaving Welsh Premier Division side TNS. He joins Luke Goddard`s squad ahead of tomorrows NWCFL fixture at home to Northwich Victoria at the KMJ Mortgages Stadium.

The manager had this to say on the latest signing "We are very happy to move quickly to replace Burzynski who has sadly had to leave this week with his move back in the coming weeks. Lewis joins with a great reputation and coming here to prove a point I guess also to get some games to help his progression up the leagues.

He has worked with goalkeeper coach Paul Mellings before and Steve Benyon, aswell as play with a couple of our current lads at TNS so he thankfully isnt a stranger to our group. It hasnt been an easy start to the season with having to make forced changes to the squad but thats football and the joys of management, fortunately we are recruiting well and players that fit the way we wish to move forward.

Im sure all the RedArmy will welcome Lewis tomorrow and for the rest of the season as we now look to turn performances into winning points"
