A look ahead to this weeks upcoming fixtures

After home fixtures against Conference North neighbours' Chester FC and AFC Telford the Reds are on their travels tomorrow evening to Staffs Premier League side Audley FC.

Manager Luke Goddard will send a mixed squad of first team lads and U19s to Town Fields led by Steve May & Adam Shilcock with the remaining squad training as per usual at Yockings Park.

The gaffer had this to say on the upcoming week as we host Ellesmere Rangers this coming Saturday back at the KMJ Mortgages Stadium "The opening three games have been hugely beneficial on all fronts, we competed very well in the last two games especially Saturday with many missing too. But on and off the field we have done our reputation nothing but good in hosting both Chester and Telford who were hugely respectful. Tomorrow is another great opportunity, we have a number of first team lads who need to go get 90 minutes and its a good chance to look at a few options also. Understandably the last two games weve done alot of defending against sides three leagues above us but tomorrow and Saturday against Ellesmere we now need to take the game to sides and control certain elements with and without the ball.

Its ultimately about conditioning and we have just under a month now to get all of the squad at similar fitness levels to be ready come August 6th. Naturally the more we play as a group now even once the season begins we will just keep improving but that winning mentality we need from the off to win games early doors to build momentum. Were happy with the group and have a few options in the background if we require them but its been a positive start and the lads know the expectations with hardwork if we are to represent the Club well on all fronts this season.

Thankyou so much so far for all the support and please keep spreading the word to help build the support for our community football club"

For those making the journey tomorrow evening to Audley FC (ST7 8QH) please note this is a 7.15pm Kick Off. We return to play former manager Matt Burtons Ellesmere Rangers side this Saturday (3pm) at the KMJ.
